Hispanic Teen Drug Use Significantly Higher Than Other Ethnic Groups (9.11.13)

According to the most recent data from the Partnership Attitude Tracking Study (PATS) sponsored by MetLife Foundation, Hispanic teen drug use is at 54 percent.

Hispanic teens report the highest use of illicit drugs of any ethnicity in the U.S., with more than half of those surveyed engaging in substance abuse, compared to 45 percent of African American teens and 43 percent of non-Hispanic white teens.
