The Corporate Workplace Program

The Corporate Workplace Program aims to close the gap for motivated teens between the classroom and the real world of work.
This program’s activities are governed primarily through the Corporate Advisory Committee - a unique collaboration of representatives from local businesses and corporations.
Corporate Workplace participants take part in hands-on workshops, such as running a record label, producing a news broadcast and developing a business plan; attend Career Panels hosted by participating companies; and learn valuable social skills including dining etiquette.
During the spring, students participate in an intensive career preparation workshop, with weekly sessions dealing with résumé writing, interview skills and job searching. These spring sessions correspond with paid summer corporate internship opportunities.
