Youth Arts

Children’s Aid believes that self-expression and creativity builds individuality and self-confidence, and ultimately expands a young person’s horizons. From dance classes to the Children’s Aid Chorus, to community center and school-based drama clubs, Children’s Aid’s arts programs strive to reflect the changing interests of older youth and teens.

Recognizing the added therapeutic benefits of arts activities, creative writing programs and poetry slams have proven particularly valuable in connecting with young people in our Juvenile Justice programs.
