SAT & College Prep

NGC offers individualized SAT prep as well as assistance applying to college and for financial aid.

Tutoring & REGENTS Prep

NGC offers daily homework help and tutoring. Members may also request individualized assistance around GED and SAT preparation, and college applications.

Summer Youth Employment

NGC runs an 8-week paid internship program with an emphasis on job readiness, youth leadership, study and life skills instruction and public service.

Male/Female Rights of Passage

In male-only and female-only groups, participants engage in a discussion about issues of their own choice, including gender roles, dating and domestic violence, family planning, health and nutrition, the meaning of manhood and womanhood, education and more.

Life Skills Training

In addition to offering monthly life skills workshops, the center integrates life skills instruction into all of our programming.

Leadership Academy

Our Leadership Academy is designed to help NGC members develop an awareness of their leadership potential, take responsibility for themselves and their community, and develop training and facilitation skills. Using a peer "train-the-trainer" model and facilitated discussions, participants learn how to train their peers on issues of importance to teens.

William Osborn Day Camp

William Osborn Day Camp at Goodhue Center on Staten Island is an 8-week co-ed summer camp for children who have finished Kindergarten to those who are entering 8th grade. Programs include art, theater, sports, music, nature and science study, computers and boating.

Wagon Road Summer Day Camp

The mission of our Summer Day Camp is to provide a quality day camp experience while bringing together a diverse group of children from Westchester County and New York City. Our program is designed with the belief that when children spend time with each other doing fun, interesting, and challenging activities they build close relationships with each other and they see themselves as capable, happy people.

Respite Services at Wagon Road Camp

Respite Services provide year round programming at the camp for developmentally-delayed children. The purpose of this program is two-fold: to support and strengthen the families; and to enrich the lives of these children.

Wagon Road Camp

The Children's Aid Society's Wagon Road Camp is located on 53 beautiful wooded acres in Chappaqua, New York, about 35 miles north of New York City. Our wide range of activities is designed to emphasize creativity, skill development and social learning.
