Sports and Recreation
The Children’s Aid Society's Sports and Recreation Programs are based on the philosophy that play is an important part of a child’s healthy development. Physical activity provides hours of fun, fitness, endless memories and valuable lessons in teamwork and leadership.
Sports and recreational activities help children discover their natural talents.
Programs focus on a young athlete's willingness simply to play the game, and not on scores and statistics. We also impress upon youngsters that participation and perseverance are the true marks of a good sport.
