Bronx Lawmakers want Liquor Authority to consult cops (9.11.13)

Lawmakers are rallying around a new state bill that could change the way liquor licenses are granted to bars and nightclubs.

The proposed law would give the New York State Liquor Authority access to information about assaults, soliciting and disorderly conduct reported at bars and nightclubs. The liquor board would be able to use the reports when deciding on liquor licensing.
