ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A $50 REGISTRATION FEE AND A COPY OF YOUR CHILD'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

Applications for the 2009-10 school year will be available starting October 1st, 2008.

Call the receptionist at 212-254-3074 to reserve a spot. Please be punctual so that you hear all of the important information. Since this is a session for adults, please do not bring your children. Download the Open House Schedule here.

Policy for Nursery School Registration 2009/2010
Registration for 2009/2010 will take place on the following dates in the following order:

Lotteries

Parents of children in the following categories will be asked to hand or mail in registration forms for a lottery. Forms should go to Marisa Goldsmith and will be processed in the order that they are drawn from the lottery. Forms will be available October 1st, 2008. Parents will be asked to rank all of their choices and will be enrolled based on availability or put onto waitlists. Children will be put on waiting lists in the order that they are requested. Therefore, it is important to rank all choices on the application form because children will only be put into classes or on waitlists that are ranked. For each category we will draw each name submitted before going on to the next category. Results will be mailed out on the day of the lottery and you should receive them a few days later. Results will not be given over the phone.

Last Day to Turn In Forms: December 1st, 2008

1. Current Nursery students and current Nursery student’s siblings:
Notification Mailing: December 5th, 2008

2. Current Nursery students who would like to repeat the Pre-K year:
Notification Mailing: December 5th, 2008

3. Early Childhood students enrolled in Fall 2008 semester with siblings who are alumni of the Nursery school program:
Notification Mailing: December 5th, 2008

4. Siblings of alumni of the Nursery School program (not enrolled in the Fall 2008 Early Childhood):
Notification Mailing: December 5th, 2008

5. Early Childhood students enrolled in Fall 2008 Step-Up Kids
Notification Mailing: March 3rd, 2009

6. Early Childhood students that have taken 2 or more semesters (including Fall 2008): Notification Mailing: March 3rd, 2009

7. All other Early Childhood students enrolled in Fall 2008 semester (no siblings who are alumni of the nursery school):
Notification Mailing: March 3rd, 2009

8. Other alumni families of Early Childhood (who are not currently enrolled in Early Childhood):
Notification Mailing: March 3rd, 2009

9. New Family Registration:
Notification Mailing: March 3rd, 2009
