At 177 Sullivan Street, Mondays through Fridays from 1:00- 3:00 PM, the Imaginasium and My Little Library are available to the community for Open Play! Open Play does not run when the Early Childhood program is closed for holidays or between semesters (please see our Holiday Calendar under the "Current Families" link for info on when the program is closed).

All students registered in the current Early Childhood Program semester get one free Open Play time (you must have your ID card with you to use your free Open Play and reservations are still necessary). To schedule additional Open Play times, or for families not registered in Early Childhood, there is a $10 fee for the day, per child. The $10 fee must be paid in cash and exact change is appreciated.

You can reserve up to 3 Open Play days in advance with Brendan Lane at 212-505-6545. We only allow 20 children in the Imaginasium on any given day, so reservations in advance are STRONGLY recommended. You will be turned away if Open Play is full and you do not have a reservation.

Please note: all the same policies apply during Open Play as during our regular classes (every child must be attended by a grown-up with the exception of siblings, it is the parent/caregiver’s responsibility to supervise their child at all times, no food or drink in the Imaginasium, no shoes, etc). All adults accompanying a child in Open Play must sign a waiver upon arrival which will be kept on file.

You may also purchase 5 and 10 class cards for Open Play. The fee for a 5 class card is $45 and the fee for a 10 class card is $85. Card holders must still reserve spaces for Open Play in advance.

* Advanced sign-up is suggested. Walk-ins will be accepted if space is available.
