Dear Early Childhood Family,
PLEASE take the time to read the e-mail announcements and share them with your caregivers.

NURSERY SCHOOL RESULTS... Results for Nursery School registration were mailed this Tuesday. If you were offered a spot in the Nursery School, your MUST hand in your deposit to Rachel Gordian (in the 219 building) by Wednesday, March 11th at 12:00 noon in order to accept it. If you did not get a spot, but wish to remain on the waitlist, you must e-mail Rachel Gordian (rachelg@childrensaidsociety.org) as soon as possible to let her know.

DESSERTS for CAREGIVER'S LUNCHEON… We are asking Early Childhood parents to please donate desserts for the Caregiver's Luncheon! They can be dropped off in the 219 building's 3rd floor Auditorium on the morning of the event (Wed., March 11th up until 11:00 AM).. Thanks in advance!

RSVP for CAREGIVER'S LUNCHEON!!!… Nannies and caregivers must sign up in person at the 177 front desk or at the table in the lobby of the 219 building, in order to attend the Caregiver's Luncheon (they will be given a ticket when they sign up which is required for entrance)! The Luncheon is on Wed., March 11th from 11:30-1:30 in the Main Center's (the 219 building) 3rd floor Auditorium. This event celebrates and shows our appreciation for the important role that nannies and babysitters play at our Center (please note- this event is NOT open to the outside community).

BALANCES DUE TODAY for SPRING SEMESTER… If you received an invoice in the mail that you owe a balance for their Spring 2009 Early Childhood semester- it is due TODAY!.

SUB FOR MISSY ON MONDAY… Crystal, our fabulous Step-Up Music teacher, will be subbing Missy's Kindermusik classes this coming Monday morning (she wanted to make sure you had a heads-up since she didn't get to tell you last Monday).

NEW SATURDAY SPANISH TEACHER… Beginning next Saturday, March 14th, there will be a new Speakin' Spanish teacher for Saturday mornings, whose name is Xenia.

PREVIEW INTO PRESCHOOLS WORKSHOP… On Friday, April 3rd, we will be holding our 2nd annual "Sneak Peek into Downtown Preschools" workshop from 6:00-7:30. This is a free event to help prepare our Center's Early Childhood families to go through the Preschool application process for their children to begin preschool in the Fall of 2010. A speaker will discuss what to look for in a school and then parents will have an opportunity to speak with representatives from a number of different downtown preschools. Adults only/ Early Childhood ID required for entrance. SAVE THE DATE!
