The only thing Children’s Aid kids enjoyed more than watching the JBAAC game was playing basketball with JBAAC players. The JBAAC regional team and Jared Jeffries of the New York Knicks conducted a basketball clinic at The Children’s Aid Society’s Dunlevy Milbank Center on April 5, 2007. The excited children were drilled in different skills by the players, received Jordan Band shirts and enjoyed collecting autographs.
The basketball clinic was a homecoming for Gerald Colds and Jamie Harris, two JBAAC regional team players who enjoyed activities at the Dunlevy Milbank Center as youngsters. The clinic was a great opportunity for students to meet and learn from local players who are making a name for themselves as student athletes.
