Career & Workplace Readiness at Next Generation
Summer Youth Employment
NGC runs an 8-week paid internship program with an emphasis on job readiness, youth leadership, study and life skills instruction and public service.
Microsoft Office
Participants learn both basic and advanced features of Microsoft Office programs including Powerpoint, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Life Skills Training
In addition to offering monthly life skills workshops, the center integrates life skills instruction into all of our programming.
Career Readiness Workshops
Our M.O.N.E.Y. (Making Ourselves Newly Employed Youth) program combines instruction in workplace competencies, entrepreneurship, oral & written communication skills and teamwork. MONEY's goal is to prepare participants for the world of work while enhancing their performance in school.
