What:
An evening of food, drinks, casino games and a silent auction to benefit The Children’s Aid Society (CAS) Rhinelander Children’s Center.

Bridgewaters will be transformed into a casino with Texas Hold-Em Poker, Blackjack, Roulette and a Money Wheel.

Silent auction packages include tickets to the Yankee/Red Sox home opener, with a personalized autograph from pitcher Mariano Rivera; airfare to Chicago and tickets to a taping of “Oprah;” a wine tasting for 10 at Union Square Wine and Spirits and a special Rhinelander Center birthday party for 15 children.

Who:
Last year’s Benefit honorees, Randie and Aaron Malinsky, will be in attendance, as will be CAS Trustee and Rhinelander Advisory Board Member Virginia Sermier. Also joining in the festivities will be Children’s Aid’s Philip Coltoff, CEO, C. Warren Moses, Executive Director and Dr. Angela Diaz, President. New York State Assemblymember Pete Grannis is also expected to attend.

Rhinelander Children’s Center, located at 350 East 88th Street, serves over 600 New York City children in programs as varied as early childhood classes, nursery school, after-school, the Saturday Program for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Children and Teens and the Stern National Training Center of the Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program.

The Children’s Aid Society was founded in 1853. It is one of the nation’s largest and most innovative non-sectarian agencies, serving more than 150,000 of New York’s neediest children and their families with a network of services that includes community schools, neighborhood centers, camps, adoption and foster care services, teen pregnancy prevention, education, health and recreation.
