Tournament: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Post-game party:
Begins at 3:00 p.m.
The tournament will be followed by “Pier Pressure,” a party on the Hudson with food, drinks and dancing featuring the jazz/funk/soul sounds of the world famous Groove Collective.

WHERE:
Basketball City at Pier 63 – West 23rd Street and West Side Highway

WHAT:
The New Heights Hoop Challenge, presented by Mountain Dew Code Red, features a 3-on-3 men’s and women’s tournament, a Youth Showcase game and the “$10,000 ¾ Court Shot,” a one-time shot open to raffle winners. The day’s events will help raise funds for The Children’s Aid Society’s New Heights Student-Athlete program.

One hundred percent of the money raised at this event will benefit The Children’s Aid Society’s New Heights program. Founded in 2000, this year-round program was developed by The Children’s Aid Society to promote self-discipline, leadership, academic excellence and personal development in New York City youth.

Len Elmore, ESPN analyst and NBA veteran and Sue Wicks, WNBA veteran, will chair the tournament and be on hand to show their support.
