New York, NY (November 21, 2007) --- In anticipation of the annual Miracle on Madison Avenue, held this year on Sunday, December 7th, celebrities are sharing great gift ideas and encouraging friends and family to do all of their holiday shopping on Miracle Sunday.

New Yorkers will shop with their hearts to benefit New York children in need at The Children’s Aid Society’s Miracle on Madison Avenue presented by The Bank of New York Mellon (www.miracleonmadison.org).

From noon to 5:00 PM, over 95 participating Madison Avenue establishments between 57th and 86th Streets will donate 20 percent of the day’s sales to The Children’s Aid Society’s health care programs.

The money raised at Miracle on Madison Avenue allows The Children's Aid Society to provide much needed health services to New York City children. For example, $100 provides eyeglasses for two children and $500 provides home-based physical and occupational therapy for a child with a traumatic brain injury.

Honorary Chair Ivanka Trump loves Crate and Barrel’s red lacquer boxes, saying, “They are great for storage and double as beautiful jewelry boxes.” And if you’re looking to give a show-stopper this holiday season, how about the signature diamond hoop earrings from Ivanka Trump Collection? The beautiful earrings, which retail for $6,850, will generate $1,370 for The Children's Aid Society and provide an orthodontic dental assessment and initial visit for braces for a child.

Event Chair Tamara Tunie, participating in her third Miracle, suggests the perfect stocking stuffer - the Julia scented candle from Calypso St. Barth.

Tinsley Mortimer’s wish is for everyone to shop Madison Avenue on December 7th to help support The Children’s Aid Society. And her pick for a great gift is Samantha Thavasa’s Lily bag ($300). We know she loves it because she carried it during her recent stint on “Gossip Girl!” And everyone loves the fact that purchasing it on Miracle Sunday will raise $60 for Children’s Aid – enough for lead and anemia screening for four children!

Those wonderful ladies on “Entourage” have picks too. Sassy Debi Mazar loves the bed linen sets of Signoria Firenze and Perrey Reeves suggests Cole Haan's Penny Air Sling with hidden Nike Air technology: chic, classic and comfortable - they can get you through a season of holiday gatherings and beyond.

Glamour girl Joy Bryant thinks David Yurman’s faceted gold Albion ring in sterling silver with 18k gold and pave diamonds would make any woman’s holiday. And fashion “it girl” Milla Jovovich loves her Samsonite Black Label resort collection luggage and has it on her gift list for many a loved one.

Shoppers can create their own holiday wish list to send to loved ones at www.miracleonmadison.org, as well as find more information and a full list of Miracle participants.

Miracle on Madison Avenue will start at noon with an opening ceremony to include singing by The Children’s Aid Society Chamber Chorus and a ribbon cutting by Chair Tamara Tunie, Honorary Chair Ivanka Trump, The Bank of New York Mellon CEO Robert Kelly, and C. Warren Moses, CEO of The Children’s Aid Society.

Miracle on Madison Avenue was created in 1987 by Martha Dupee and Noonie Marx, co-founders of the Madison Avenue Fund for Children. Since its inception, Miracle on Madison Avenue has raised over $7 million for charity.
