6th Annual Asthma March

This year, over 1,000 people rallied for asthma awareness at the 6th Annual East Harlem Asthma March held on Saturday, September 6th, co-sponsored by The Children's Aid Society and The East Harlem Asthma Working Group. Asthma related hospitalizations in East Harlem alone are 10 times the national rate. In response to these high rates, residents and elected officials marched for increased awareness and health care services.
