2009 Jordan Brand Classic

The 2009 Jordan Brand Classic, a high school all star basketball showcase, hit the court at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, April 18th. This is the 5th year The Children's Aid Society has been the charity beneficiary. The Classic showcased 24 of the nation's top high school basketball players, including senior Lamont Jones, who attended The Children's Aid Society's own Dunlevy Milbank Center in Harlem. Lamont played basketball under the instruction of Roosevelt Byers, the center's recreation coordinator. Jordan's 2009 All-American team also visited Milbank on Friday, April 17th and conducted a basketball clinic and academic segment with the children.
