HOPE Leadership Academy Violence Prevention

Groups are designed to address issues youth feel are important to their growth. Topics include character development, dating, domestic violence, anger management, substance abuse, and gender specific issues.
The PEARLS (People Empowered to Address Real-Life Situations) curriculum is the basis of the training. Students learn public speaking, better communication and how to become peer educators. The violence prevention program is replicated at four of our other CAS centers/sites.
Training occurs on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Anyone ages 14-21 can enroll.
For more information, please call Danny Morris at (212) 987-5648.
