JP Morgan Project LIVE

J.P. Morgan Chase, one of the oldest financial institutions in the United States, is also one of the most respected in the world. Through an exciting collaboration between J.P. Morgan Chase and Children’s Aid, The J.P. Morgan Project LIVE (Learning Industry through Volunteer Educators) corporate mentoring program was born.  With a focus on career development for teens, 10th and 11th grade students are assigned two corporate mentors.  Together they participate in a 16-week cycle of activities and workshops that give them the inside track into what it takes to succeed in any future career.

J.P. Morgan Project LIVE mentors come from diverse backgrounds and have a great deal of experience in the world of finance. Young people benefit from participating in the program by networking with corporate employees; improving their financial literacy wellness; working on exciting team-oriented projects; building important work/life skills; and securing their eligibility for summer employment with The Children’s Aid Society.

A student applicant must be a registered Children’s Aid participant and should watch for applications in the late fall.  Corporate mentors must be screened, trained, and oriented prior to the beginning of their participation.

The program takes place at a J.P. Morgan office in midtown Manhattan on Wednesday evenings from 5:00pm to 7:30pm.
