JP Morgan Project LIVE is a verysought after corporate mentoring program at CAS. Students are assigned two corporate mentors and participate in weekly activities and workshops that give them the inside track into the corporate world.
Over the course of seven two-hour sessions at Madison Square Garden, “MSG Classroom” students are introduced to the behind-the-scenes world of the television industry and learn first hand what it takes to put a television show on the air.
Street Law is a program held at Hope Leadership Academy in which law students from The New York Law School educate teens on their rights and help them prepare for a professional moot court at a law firm in downtown NYC.
The Youth Employment Summer Program is one where students are placed in corporate internships Monday through Thursday and then meet with the YES staff on Friday to discuss their work placement and go on cultural trips.
In the summer, youth in good standing are offered paid positions to become advanced peer educators and trainers and provide workshops to organizations that serve youth.
