HOPE Leadership Academy

HOPE Leadership Academy is a center dedicated to adolescent development.

We work individually with youth to design intervention/prevention services. To participate, youth must commit to provide service to the community by becoming a Peer Educator and Leader. Youth are also asked to help design enrichment activities that address what teens want.

The HOPE Academy serves two distinct populations: out-of-school youth and in-school youth.

Out-of-school youth need to reconnect to educational, vocational or higher education programs and services. These young people receive assessments, and develop plans for careers and the completion of education. Youth attend groups, technology training, career readiness workshops, and are referred to longer-term services, placements, colleges and/or vocational institutions.

After-school programming focuses on in-school youth and provides educational assistance, peer education, violence prevention training, one to one support, groups, career readiness, enrichment activities and referral assistance.
