WISE Teens

Well Informed in Sexuality Education (WISE) Teens is a comprehensive health model that focuses on the sexual behaviors of younger adolescents and strives to empower teens, parents, health clinic and school staff to talk about sex and adolescent sexual activity in a candid, well-informed manner.
Our programs ensure that teens have access to reproductive health care
School-based medical and mental health staff, as well as a health educator at two of our community middle schools in Washington Heights, provide sensitive and respectful care and counseling to sexually active students and those at risk of early sexual activity.
In our Bronx schools, a Health Educator creates a school-to-clinic link that connects students back to our Bronx Family Center for medical and family planning services.
