A Day on the Greens = A Better Future for New York Youth

Golfers enjoyed a day on and off the greens at the renowned Baltusrol Golf Club while helping underserved children, at the 10th Annual Children’s Aid Society Golf Classic on May 18th, 2009. Baltusrol is one of the premiere courses in the country and has the remarkable history of hosting 15 national championship tournaments including the 87th PGA Championship in 2005.

The Children’s Aid Golf Classic kicked off with a brunch, followed by 18 holes, and ended with a cocktail reception, awards ceremony and spirited live auction. Click here to see who won the team low gross and low net, longest drive and closest to the pins contests.

The net proceeds of the 2009 Classic will support the most fragile children and families in New York City Sadly, our most vulnerable -- the children and families served by Children’s Aid -- are those that are being impacted the most by these difficult economic times. As a result, the need for Children’s Aid services has never been so critical and our gratitude to this year's supporters of the Golf Classic has never been greater.
