Head Start at Frederick Douglass
The Head Start program offers child-focused programs designed to prepare young children for elementary school.
After-School Program
The Frederick Douglass Center After-School Program for 5-11 year olds runs Monday through Friday during the school year.
Saturday Program
Also called the Biddy Program, the Saturday program teaches athletic skills and provides academic support to children and youth ages 5-18.
Summer Camp at Frederick Douglass Center
The Frederick Douglass Center offers its own camp for children ages 5-11. Also available is 7:45 a.m. daily pick-up for the Children's Aid country day camps at Wagon Road Camp in Westchester and William Osborn Day Camp on Staten Island.
Intel Computer Clubhouse
The Children's Aid Society has played a significant role in helping to "bridge the digital divide" for children and parents who are members of our East Harlem Center; Frederick Douglass Center, home to our Intel Computer Clubhouse; and Dunlevy Milbank Center, all in Harlem.
