Susan Sarandon Receives First Children's Aid Society Dreamspiration Award

On Saturday, March 31st, renowned actress and activist
Susan Sarandon received The Children's Aid Society's Inaugural Dreamspiration Award at the Blue Jean Ball, the 15th Annual Children's Aid Society's Associates Council gala. Susan Sarandon's gracious acceptance speech kicked off this evening of dining, dancing, games and helping children in need.
Guests danced to music by Max Salpetrier, watched a salsa performance by Balia Conmigo New York, practiced rodeo techniques on the mechanical bull, took a chance to win a $15,000 Kwiat Diamond star pendant, a stay at a Starwood Resort, and other fabulous prizes in the Diamond Dig raffle, spun the mystery wheel to win over $5,000 in prizes, and saw a glimpse into their future with a visit to the tarot card readers.
