2007 Golf Classic Raises over $300,000

The 8th Annual Children's Aid Golf Classic was held under vibrant blue skies on May 21, 2007 at the renowned Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey. Baltusrol is one of the world's premier golfing venues and the host of 15 national golf championships in its prestigious history.

After a full day on the greens, golfers enjoyed a cocktail reception, live auction and awards ceremony. The raffle of a 7 day dream golf vacation to Ireland was a highlight of the reception.

The net proceeds of this Golf Classic support The Children's Aid Society's Respite Program at our Wagon Road Camp. The respite program offers year-round camping experiences to physically and developmentally disabled children whose families would otherwise not be able to afford such specialized programming.

Thank you to all of the generous supporters who made this year's Classic a success.

We want to especially acknowledge our primary sponsors Accenture and UBS. The generous support of Accenture, a lead supporter of this event since 2000, will help us renovate the Wagon Road pool which is designed to meet the special needs of disabled children. With the support of UBS, our individual and team low gross sponsor, we are able to create a learning garden and greenhouse at the Wagon Road Camp.
