Early Childhood Program

The Drew Hamilton Early Childhood Program provides children and families with a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment where all children can receive quality care in an enriched educational setting. Our program emphasizes the interrelatedness of cognitive, social, physical, emotional and language/literacy development. Our program provides the foundation for children, families and staff to reach their educational and social goals. Our year round program for children ages 2-4 is licensed by the NYC Department of Health. All children must be completely toilet trained.

We provide children with:
Breakfast, lunch and snack
Educational program using the Creative Curriculum
Local neighborhood trips
Social services as needed

Eligibility

We accept children ages 2-4. Children attending our program must meet the eligibility guidelines of ACS Early Learn. These guidelines are determined by the funding streams that support ACS Early Learn grants and include guidelines from: Head Start funding; HRA ACS funding (Child Care Funding and Dual Eligible) and/or the Department of Education (DOE) for our Universal Pre-K Program. Our program is non-sectarian and open to all families meeting eligibility including children with special needs.
