New York, NY – The Trustees of the Children’s Aid Society Community Charter School (CASCCS) will be holding its next meeting on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from 12-2pm at 105 East 22nd Street, New York, NY in the Executive Conference Room, Suite 102.
Trustee meetings are subject to the public notification requirements of the Open Meetings Law.
Trustees will receive updates on Principal selection, school dashboard discussion, school development updates and the February 2nd networking event.
Transitioning from foster care puts a tremendous level of responsibility on young people. Disconnected youth become solely responsible for food, shelter, health care and employment. For most 21-year-olds, becoming independent usually comes with family support, but for Julio, celebrating his 21st birthday also carried the burden of transitioning to a life on his own.
