As you may have heard, the City Council voted on a budget for the fiscal year beginning on July 1 – and there is good news. Together, Mayor Bloomberg, Speaker Quinn and the City Council restored significant funding for early childhood and after-school programs in some of New York City’s poorest neighborhoods.
