Preventive Services

Sometimes the right support and guidance can make the difference between whether a child enters foster care or remains with his family. For this reason, The Bronx Family Center provides preventive services such as:

* Individual and family counseling
* Home visits
* Parent aide services
* Coordination with other needed community services.

The Children's Aid Society Preventive Services team also helps families improve their relationship with one another, obtain financial support, meet educational and employment goals and find adequate housing.

Preventive services are available to residents of Bronx Community Boards 3 and 6.
