The Children’s Aid Society will host its Winter Concert, Thursday February 2, 2012, and feature exciting performances from our training, intermediate and CAS Chorus. The young artists performing have diverse artistic backgrounds, ranging from beginning to advanced, and come from all over New York City.

Each year the Children’s Aid Society Chorus is invited to sing holiday carols at the Philip Coltoff Tree Lighting Ceremony. This event is extra special, as Mr. Coltoff has dedicated his life to helping others and has been an advocate for the arts.

The Children’s Aid Society Chorus took the ice to perform the Canadian and National Anthem at the New York Rangers Game! Students appeared on the SNY channel!

Miracle on Madison Avenue is a New York City holiday tradition that brings together a caring community of shoppers, retailers and sponsors to help children who depend on the vital health care services of The Children’s Aid Society. The Children’s Aid Society Chorus helped celebrate this wonderful tradition as they serenaded the crowd with holiday songs.

The Children’s Aid Society Chorus stole the show at the Annual CAS Fundraising Gala. This past year the organization raised $1.2 million to aid New York City’s most vulnerable children.

Please join our talented students as we come together in song, dance and music at our Fourteenth Annual Spring Concert. The young artists performing have diverse artistic backgrounds, ranging from beginning to advanced, and are drawn from The Children’s Aid Society’s (CAS) community centers and community schools in Greenwich Village, Washington Heights, Harlem and the Bronx.

Each year, El Museo del Barrio celebrates Three Kings’ Day with the community by providing cultural festivities and a parade honoring this sacred day. The Children’s Aid Chorus performed during the parade this year, which circled from 106th and Park, to 3rd Avenue, up to 112th Street, then along 112th to 5th Avenue, and ended at the museum on Park Ave between 104th & 105th.
