The Children's Aid Chorus Program is in its fifteenth year of bringing together children from all over New York City in song. Any child aged 5-18 who enjoys the challenge and fulfillment of singing with others is invited to join. Chorus participants practice and perform a mixture of classical, popular and world music with artistry. Through the process, they experience personal, musical and social growth. The Chorus encourages intercultural awareness as members come from many ethnic, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

Performance is an essential part of The Children's Aid's elite Chorus, the CAS Chorus, and the young singers in this group have performed with legendary mezzo-soprano Marilyn Horne, Broadway star Donna Murphy and have performed on NBC’s Today Show, the CBS Early Morning Show, and Good Day New York, as well as many other exciting events. Previous cities visited by the Children’s Aid Chorus include Chicago, Atlanta, San Juan, Hershey, PA, and Toronto, Canada. High praise has been received for their performances at such historic locations as Gracie Mansion, The Morgan Library and Museum and the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.

Most recently, the Children’s Aid Society Chorus appeared at Madison Square Garden to perform the National Anthem before the New York Knicks home game and again before the New York Rangers home game. The Chorus has also been selected to participate in the Garden of Dreams Talent Show at the world famous Radio City Music Hall in April 2011!

Ensembles rehearse weekly and meet in Greenwich Village and the Upper East Side.
