Weekend programs offer a range of arts, educational and recreational pursuits. The goal is to help children and teens gain and build self-confidence in a safe environment. This allows them to experience positive social and emotional growth. Our Saturday programs include:

  • Study Now - Play Later at Dunlevy Milbank Center requires 90 minutes of study before youth can participate in sports, fitness or cultural programming.
  • English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for adults and sports for youths are offered at the East Harlem Center.
  • The Biddy Program at Frederick Douglass Center teaches athletic skills and provides academic support.
  • The Saturday Program for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Children and Teens at Rhinelander Children's Center provides camaraderie as well as field trips and community service projects.
