Chief Information Officer
Alethea Pratt joined The Children’s Aid Society in August 2013 as its Chief Information Officer, bringing extensive information technology experience from both the nonprofit and for-profit worlds. In this role she oversees the planning and implementation of information systems for all of Children’s Aid 40-plus sites and over 1,500 staff members.
Alethea most recently served as the CIO for AFTRA, a $1.3 billion pension and health benefits plan for members of the entertainment industry, where she led the fund’s business and technology transformation in anticipation of the Affordable Care Act regulatory requirements. She has also been CIO for the National Audubon Society during which she oversaw development of an integrated information technology platform across nearly 100 local offices nationwide. At the Church Pension Group, Alethea served as the CIO of the $6.7 billion agency, where she was responsible for information technology and services across the fund. She has worked in additional leadership positions at Butler International and Sony Corporation of America.
Alethea holds a bachelor of science in chemistry from SUNY-Potsdam and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickenson University.
